Registration Process Steps
1. Create a Detonate account and login
You need to login to your Detonate account on the Detonate website.
You can create a Detonate account from the login page if you do not already have one (click the ‘Register’ link on the login page). You will need to provide your email address and a password of your choice.
Please note that each and every Team Member at Detonate MUST have their own Detonate account. It is not possible for two or more people to share a single Detonate account. Nor is is possible to transfer an account from one person to another. If you need clarification or assistance, please do messge us via the Contact Us page.
If you need to create a second Detonate account (login) relating to a single email address (for example, to register two people who share an email address, or to register a teenage Team Member using a parent’s email address) then please message us via the Contact Us page. We can set this up for you, but you cannot achieve this without our assistance.
2. Verify your email address
Once you have created your account then before you can use your account for the first time you will need to verify your email address by clicking on a link in the email which we send to you.
If you do not receive this email, please check your spam folder.
If you still cannot locate the verification email please contact us via the contact page.
3. Choose to Register as a Team Member
When you login for the first time you will be asked to make a choice to register as a Team Member (as opposed to a Parent).
4. Complete Team Member Details
You will then need to complete details about yourself and your application to be a Detonate Team Member.
There are number of separate short forms/pages. When you click ‘Next’ on a page the information is saved and you can return to complete your application later if you so choose.
Please complete your application as fully as possible – it is very helpful to us. Where allowed, please leave entries blank that are not relevant to you.
Once you’ve completed your application you can also return to update the details that you’ve entered should that be necessary.
5. Child Registration for Early Birds and Pre-registration for Detonate Tickets
As a privilege of being a Detonate Team Member, once you have completed your Team Member registration you may then apply for the following for your children:
- Places to be allocated for your own children for Early Birds. Early Birds provides care for Team Members’ children each morning from 9am until Detonate starts. This is provided so that Team Members are free to attend Detonate Team Member meetings each morning.
- Places to be allocated for your own children at Detonate. This only applies in the period BEFORE Detonate tickets go on public sale to encourage early registration of Team Members. If approved, once Detonate tickets are on public sale you will then be invited to purchase your tickets from a block of reserved tickets held for that purpose.
Both of these privileges are intended for Team Members’ children only. To qualify, you must be able to help at Detonate for a substantial proportion of the week. Approval is at the discretion of the Detonate team.
