Welcome to the Detonate Booking Page. This contains the information that you need to book your child into Detonate. Note that there are a few small changes to our booking procedure this year, so please take a moment to read this page.
The term ‘Parent’ should be taken to mean parent, guardian or carer throughout this process (and elsewhere on the Detonate website).
1. Create a Detonate account and login
You need to login to the Detonate website. You can create an account from the login page if you do not already have one.
If you have a login from last year you should re-use that. There is a lost password link from the login page should you need it.
2. Verify your email address
Once you have created your account then before you can use your account for the first time you will need to verify your email address by clicking on a link in the email which we send to you.
If you do not receive this email, please check your spam folder.
If you still cannot locate the verification email please contact us via the contact page.
3. Choose to Register as a Parent
When you login for the first time you will be asked to make a choice to register as a Parent (as opposed to a Team Member).
4. Complete Parental Details
You will then need to complete details about yourself as the parent/guardian/carer of the children that you are registering for Detonate.
You cannot purchase Detonate tickets until entry of these details have been completed.
If you did this last year via the same Detonate account then some details have been retained for review but we require some others to be re-entered to ensure that they are accurate.
You can return to update these details at any time.
5. Enter Your Children’s Details
You must provide us with details of your children before you can purchase Detonate tickets. You can do this in advance of the date when Detonate tickets go on sale. In fact, it is advisable to do so because it will reduce the time it takes for you to purchase tickets when they are released.
Once you have entered your children’s details and the number of children shown as recorded is correct you can move onto the next step.
6. Purchase one Detonate ticket per child
Finally, to register children for Detonate, please select tickets for the appropriate group, one ticket per child. Note that you can only purchase a ticket for the whole week. We no longer selling tickets for a partial week.
At the checkout you will be prompted to enter details for each child. Once entered, the child’s details can only be amended by contacting us.
Detonate tickets relate to the named child only and are not transferrable.
Detonate will offer a refund where circumstances change and a child is no longer able to attend Detonate. Up to 30 June a full refund will be made, thereafter the refund will be 50%. A request for a refund must be emailed to parent.admin@detonate.org.uk.
7. Checkout and pay
After making your ticket selections and completing your children’s registration details via the shopping cart, you should complete the checkout and pay for your tickets.
You will then receive an email containing your Detonate passports, one per child registered. The passport provides for access to Detonate for yourself and you children and as an authorisation to collect your children at the end of Detonate.
You may view and download your purchased Detonate passports at any time from the menu item ‘My Account > My Orders’.

Box Roll Header
This will cause your header to have a 3d box roll on scroll. (deactivated for boxed layouts)
Page Header Height
How tall do you want your header? Don’t include “px” in the string. e.g. 350 This only applies when you are using an image/bg color.
Fullscreen Height
Choosing this option will allow your header to always remain fullscreen on all devices/screen sizes.
